Even though I said the summer flew by, the end of summer seemed like it snuck up. Suddenly, it was my last week of work, then my last week of class, then packing, then loading up the car and going through the move in process for the 4th and final time. It all seemed like a routine from doing it so many times. But this year was a little different because I'm finally out of a dorm and in an apartment! I got lucky and got my own room which is a definite bonus after having to share everything, with a roommate the past 3 years.
There are going to be a lot of "lasts" this year. This will be my last semester of classes, my last field hockey season, my last move-in day..etc. I have mixed feelings about whether or not I want it to go by quickly or not. I'm not ready for the real-world yet, but I am ready for student teacher and applying for jobs and taking the steps to becoming "a real person". Let's see how this year goes!
